No, to increase the clock speed of a Skylake or Kaby Lake CPU you need a Z series board (Z170 or Z270). The B150 boards along with H110, H170, B250 and H270 boards cannot be overclocked.
8gb is the recommended minimum for a gaming setup.
Whether a board includes "gaming" in its name is just marketing. Putting "gaming" in a model name doesn't affect overclocking capability. Some so-called gaming motherboards don't even support CPU overclocking.

The mainboard isn't designed for gaming purposes. It's meant for overclocking. However, it is possible to increase the CPU speed on that mainboard.

The 8 GB memory is just the minimum required. If you have the budget, I recommend a paired 16 GB DDR3 memory.
If you can afford it, consider a newer processor or system.

Overclocking the CPU isn't possible on B150 boards; only Z models like Z170 or Z270 support it. Additionally, your system requires better cooling since the 6600K chip isn't included.
