Can I boost my CPU and RAM without running into issues? Let me assist you.
Hello, I attempted to overclock my CPU and RAM but it keeps crashing after a while. The most stable performance I've seen is at 3.5GHz on a Ryzen 5 1600 with 2666MHz RAM. I'm okay with the RAM speed but want the CPU to reach at least 3.8 or 3.75. Should I increase the voltage? What are the ideal settings? Please help me.
full system specifications include the brand and model of the PSU. It's unlikely you can overclock that much; there are no perfect settings. Every CPU and system is unique. If you're not clear on this, pause what you're doing.

If this is your sole computer and you cannot afford to replace parts, avoid attempting an overclock. Be aware that no two CPUs or motherboards are identical, so a setting effective in one video might not apply to yours. However, if you're determined to try overclocking, start by watching some YouTube videos to learn and adjust accordingly.
Disclaimer, I do not assume any liability if anything is damaged or destroyed while attempting to overclock.
You have a young low-cost processor. Trying to overclock won't make much difference. It's similar to asking a mechanic to adjust your old bike so you can go fast on the highway: even if he does his best, it won't help much.
