Other than GTA 5, prices will likely drop once you're older and grayer, before Rockstar brings them under $60. They probably even raised the cost once to keep the price around $60 during a Steam sale. Really silly, Rockstar.

Would you like me to recommend spending around $50 on inexpensive titles available on Steam? I’m after popular games with solid ratings. That’s exactly my approach. Avoid going beyond $5 unless you’re certain it’s a quality title based on discussions in online forums.

Top titles include GTA 5, Minecraft ARK, survival modes, Rust, Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption, Assassin's Creed, Black Flag, and Fallout 4. You enjoy FPS and simulation games, leaning toward action and strategy over traditional RPGs.

They might have been overlooked due to timing, marketing focus, or competition.

It's a popular 4X strategy game that resembles the Civilization series yet developed by another team. It's not connected to Civ AE.

It has often dropped to around $29.99 several times. I’ve noticed it in past sales, even if I don’t keep track of prices for GTA V personally.

I recommend an i7 7700 paired with a budget motherboard and a stock cooler to achieve top performance without higher costs. This setup will deliver better results than cheaper options, which many players recommend for these titles. Note this is exclusive to consoles. For compelling storytelling and plot, you should definitely try it.
