I'm actually a tiny bit unsure about this. The situation I am facing is the exact same as what you said, so do I think I can put in a 280mm AIO?

Sure. You can put a fan that is 240mm, 280mm, or even 360mm in front of your PC. There are other cases with the same look as yours but not for the 280mm. Those only work well for the smaller ones like 240mm or 360mm because that is two 120mm fans or three small 120mm fans. A 280mm fan makes up about half of an inch, while a 360mm fan is twice as big. So a case with just one big 140mm fan can fit the 280mm but not the 360mm. For example, the Phanteks p300 fits the 240mm or 280mm fans in front of it, but you cannot put a huge 360mm fan there. If you want liquid cooling, this case is very flexible. But if you choose air cooling, the case limits how big your fans can be to about 160mm.
