I want a PC equipped with an i5-6600k processor, a Gigabyte GA-H170-Gaming 3 LGA 1151 ATX motherboard, and a Thermaltake Intel CPU cooler. I plan to upgrade these components before overclocking. I’m curious about the performance of the i5-6600k after overclocking and whether upgrading should be my top priority before tackling demanding games.

No, no need to OC but nice having a free CPU upgrade sitting there waiting for your need for faster
😉

It should work without issues, but it's better to invest time in making it yourself for the best results.

With a i5-6600k you are going to be able to play anything with ease. No overclock needed at all. The big question now is what video card you are going to get?

Rwayne suggests that with an i5-6600k processor, everything will run smoothly without any need for overclocking. He asks about the choice of graphics card, specifically mentioning a GTX 1060 with 6GB of VRAM.

No problem at all, but it's great to have that free CPU upgrade ready whenever you need it for better performance.
