May or may not... it depends on the frame rate you're targeting and your memory speed.
If you're okay with 60 frames per second, most modern triple-A games work well with this setup.
For pushing benchmarks to over 100 frames per second, your i3-6100 might be limiting your GPU's performance.
Faster memory could help overcome CPU bottlenecks in such cases.

In my experience, I've increased at least 10 frames per second in Bioshock Infinity Ultra (average 107fps to over 117fps).
