I currently own a DELL VOSTRO laptop that has a non-backlit keyboard with some keys not functioning properly. Would it be feasible to switch to a backlit model? Please let me know. Thank You.

Hello, swapping the keyboard on a laptop is a straightforward process. Simply unplugging it and cleaning the connection should resolve any issues with non-functioning keys. If the problem persists, it likely indicates a broken keyboard or the entire unit. Regarding the backlight, if your laptop doesn’t include one, there might be an opportunity to replace the existing model with a backlight or RGB version, as this is usually managed by the motherboard. Check the provided link for details on compatible Dell models.
