Hello,
I saw that even with a laptop limited to 3.200 x 2.000 resolution, connecting it to a 4k 120Hz monitor might work if you have the appropriate port, cable, and hardware capabilities. Is that accurate? I’m checking an ASUS Vivobook S 16 OLED (Core Ultra 7 155H, Arc, Thunderbolt 4, 16GB) and wondering if it could handle such a task. What should I consider? Who could be a suitable alternative?
Thanks in advance.

Don't recall where you found that information. However, according to Intel's specifications for the Core Ultra 7 155H, the 120Hz rate is only relevant for the laptop's internal display. For the HDMI connection, the maximum is listed as 60Hz.

You shouldn't use the Thunderbolt 4 port. You're already using a USB-C to HDMI adapter on your desktop for 4k at 120Hz, as your RTX 2080 doesn't support HDMI and your LG C1 doesn't have a DisplayPort.

The manual mentions the Thunderbolt port is available, but it doesn't specify the resolution or refresh rate you'd receive. You'll need to consult someone who has used it before.

I was hoping to locate someone similar here. Asus won't respond to my request. The only choice left is to buy a unit and test it myself, but if it fails the test I'll be unsure whether the issue lies with the device or the cables I used. A clear answer to this question would be very helpful.

What purpose would require such an amount?
