My system specifications are as follows: CPU is an E3 1230 v5 with an OC range of 4.2GHz to 4.3GHz and good liquid cooling; GPU is a GTX 1060 (or possibly GTX 1070), with plans to overclock it; motherboard is Asrock E3v5 Fatality, which supports Xeon overclocking; RAM is 16GB DDR4 at 2133 MHz; I'm checking if a 550W power supply will suffice.

Yes everything is fine. However, an XFX TS 550W would be preferable.

I'm not sure about the quality of that power supply, but if you're wondering how many watts you need, you should be okay. Your CPU is overclocked by 25% and runs well with an RX 480, so you should be fine too.

Thanks for the details, I mainly use my PC for rendering a lot and gaming occasionally. So the PSU needs to be solid and provide enough power for the whole setup, since my CPU will run near full capacity most of the time.
