Camera movement causes a decrease in FPS in Fortnite.

I decided to give Fortnite another shot, but whenever I shift my camera I experience significant FPS drops—around 10 to 15 frames per second. This wasn’t an issue when I first started playing on this exact setup. Here’s my current configuration: RAM 5 GB, 5600 MHz (slightly overclocked), RX 6750 Xt 32 GB, and I’ve installed two different drivers: the latest 24.8.1 and 24.6.1. I also tried performance mode with both DX11 and DX12.

check is Vsync is on, if theres a delay when you move your mouse i'd probably blame it since it can cause frame drops and input delay especially on lower end cards or older systems

I tested everything at low and high settings. Also, I used both versions of DX 11 and DX 12 (the PC is set to DX 12).

Have you looked at the temperatures? I’d also suggest trying a fresh install and see if that resolves the problem. Just remember to confirm it’s connected to your graphics card, not the motherboard video output.

I was planning to reinstall the game, which might help. Temperatures are stable—CPU averages around 55°C and GPU about 60°C. Both components stay under 80% utilization most of the time.

I'm not sure if you verified, but my system has a 5 5600 and lacks an iGPU, meaning the GPU is the sole graphics option. I'll let you know once the reinstall is done.
