Good morning, warriors! I admire the skill of the BF4 pilots. What controller do you rely on to operate this system? I’m struggling with the mouse and keyboard, often getting stuck. Do you prefer a joystick—any specific brand or model? I tested it with my Xbox controller in BF3, which helped a bit, but not enough. Thanks for your support, Soldiers!

PS4 controller isn't an issue; keyboard and mouse work just as well. Consistent practice helps. Seek a calm lobby away from competitive players and focus your efforts.

Head into the testing area and rehearse a lot. I’m doing fine even without a mouse or keyboard. Getting the fundamentals down is slow, but once you master them it feels automatic.

I picked it up by trying things out and making mistakes, especially after playing BF3.

I've always relied on Keyboard and Mouse to navigate BF, but the controller/joystick response often feels laggy. Experienced with jets since the BF3 era and still using them in BF4. Enjoyed creating a "Tutorial" video showing how to manage speed in the PC version of BF4.

Set clear goals when entering the test area and stick to them. Practice specific actions like reaching the chopper, launching from point A, landing at point B within 45 seconds, and repeat consistently. Apply the same approach when flying low or near obstacles.

I rely on the mouse and keyboard. Experiment with mouse sensitivity if you struggle to stay in control. It's useful to assign "Pitch Up" to a keyboard key, since using the mouse will significantly limit your movement.
