Cable USB 3.2 connection inserted incorrectly
Cable USB 3.2 connection inserted incorrectly
Hello! I initially connected the front panel USB 3.0 cable into the 3.2 port on my machine. To manage it, I took it out and removed the plastic cover, making it unclear about the placement. After reinserting it, I plugged in a different USB device into the 3.0 slot. The computer starts up normally, but I’m unsure if using the wrong orientation could cause issues. Could this affect any important components?
The orientation of the cable wasn’t visible due to the plastic casing covering one end. The pins were inserted correctly. Plugging them in incorrectly could cause damage or malfunction.
