Hi, your build is almost complete. You're using an aftermsrket power switch, but it doesn't specify which cable is positive or negative. You know from the motherboard's position that the positive side is on the right and negative on the left. To confirm the correct wiring, you can check the motherboard manual or look up the specific pinout for your board. Let me know if you need help with that! Thank you.

It really doesn't matter unless you employ a specific mechanism that requires controlled electrical flow (such as an LED in the switch). The purpose of using the switch as a power button is mainly to briefly connect the two pins more conveniently and safely.

The power connector just connects two cables to start your PC. You can place it however you like. Generally, the positive side remains consistent across all pins.

Some things polarity matters, like LEDs (power LED, HD LED). The power switch, it doesn't matter which way you hook up technically. The switch just shorts the pins together, so there is technically no positive or negative. Hook it up either way. Should not matter.

I combined your threads into one. Avoid creating duplicate threads—just use a single one.
