It's not the board's age but the chipset that counts, the LGA1151 supports up to i7-7700 according to Intel. It looks like your i7700 might already be the top option. The i7700k should work, but make sure it fits your system requirements.

It's not a good idea unless the board explicitly allows overclocking—it doesn't come with an H270 chipset feature.
