Steam functions properly, though if you’ve used the beta version extensively they might consider it toward the two-hour refund policy. You’re in control—this is handled by playback settings (customer support isn’t available).

Steam seems capable of adapting to block keys or similar actions. Also, processing a refund via Steam will remove the game from your library. Unless a third-party launcher works outside Steam, your approach likely won’t succeed.

It might be different. I was only mentioning that they can observe you playing the beta version... I don't know what reaction they'll have. It's better to be cautious than to regret it later.

I think I’ll likely receive a beta key from g2a since it’s affordable, even if there are other sites offering free keys.
