Hi all! I’m thinking about purchasing a new laptop. I currently own a Dell Inspiron 5565 Special Edition, which I used until it stopped working properly. It’s mostly for an online course and I also have a gaming PC, so I’m aiming for something reasonably affordable. I’m not very tech-savvy, so I apologize ahead of time! Here are the questions we need to answer. Thanks!

I generally prefer not to use Dell because of the proprietary drivers and slow updates when new drivers become available. Other systems have worked better for me, especially Lenovo, which I've used in my gaming laptop and at work. I’d avoid anything with a quad core and definitely want an SSD with at least 16gb of RAM.
If you’re still thinking about Dell, you might want to check out the Dell outlet.
