I understand, but when you have a favorite album, keeping the physical version helps preserve memories and emotional connections. I’m allowed to make copies since I purchased it, unless you’re in the UK where that’s restricted. If this CD meets Spotify’s 320Kbps standard or better, I’m satisfied either way. My family enjoys listening to music while driving, which is why I’m also getting the CD (our car can’t handle smartphones or Spotify, and internet isn’t reliable).

For instance with the CUEripper it also checks the rip and can fix certain read errors.
