Restarting the BIOS doesn’t remove the CMOS settings, whereas resetting the CMOS restores the BIOS configuration back to its original state. Deleting the CMOS is advised before installing new hardware such as RAM, graphics cards, or the CPU, or when the system fails to start because of incorrect BIOS settings.
This BIOS is designed to update the BIOS via the USB port labeled "BIOS" when connected with a USB drive and the CMOS is cleared, ensuring the system restarts in a clean state. The PC must be powered off during this process.
