Parallels offers a tool to run Windows apps as windows on a Mac, and I was looking for a comparable solution where MacOS apps act as separate windows on a PC.

Apple doesn’t encourage this approach, so no reliable method exists. You can find plenty of tutorials for setting up virtual machines with tools like VirtualBox, but achieving a mixed window setup similar to Parallels won’t deliver strong graphics performance.

I only want to rely on the reminders app since the web version isn't great. I prefer using another reminder service, but Apple's calendar app works well for me.
