Hey everyone, I’m dealing with a pretty unusual issue and would love to hear any advice or solutions others might have. Over the past couple of years, static electricity has accumulated on my mousepad, making gameplay, especially competitive ones like CSGO, extremely challenging. The pad feels almost like mud, which makes controlling the mouse difficult. I’ve tried using a humidifier, which reduced the static somewhat but didn’t eliminate it completely. I also attempted a grounding kit, but it didn’t work. Any suggestions or experiences would be really helpful.

Consider trying another kind of mousemat material. It might be due to friction between your mouse, pad, and surface creating buildup. Possibly the issue lies in material incompatibility.

Experimented with various mouse pads and mousepads; encountered consistent issues. Tested multiple mouse feet and switched between different mice.

No problem, I checked for a solution. You're experiencing the same issue again...
