Hi everyone,
I'm just starting out with PC building and have a gaming setup that I've researched:
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 5.2GHz AM5
CPU cooler ENDORFY Fera 5 BLACK
MBO AM5 AS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS
MSI RTX 4070TI SUPER 16GB SHADOW 3X OC
G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo AMD EXPO DDR5 32GB Kit (2x16GB) PC5-48000 6000MT/s CL32 1.35V
SSD 2TB KIN KC3000 PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 NVMe SKC3000D/2048G
ENDORFY Supremo FM5 750W 80+ GOLD
+ I still need to pick a tower case, no decision made yet
Should I swap the Ryzen 7 9800X3D for the Ryzen 5 7600X3D and focus on other upgrades instead?
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! It's recommended to format your thread with details from this discussion; *How to Ask for New Build or Upgrade Advice*. Initially, it's important to acknowledge where appropriate respect should be shown – this adaptation comes from the Animal's *How To Ask For New Build Advice* post. I developed it since many users are currently seeking upgrade guidance both here and on the CPU forums, and I believe... forums. along with your location, budget, and preferred purchasing site. What is the goal of this build? If you're focused on gaming, then the 9800X3D processor would be a solid choice. At first glance, your parts list seems acceptable, but I'd suggest checking out a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 Se if you can access it. You might also use PCPartPicker to fine-tune your setup and identify any clearance problems. Is it worthwhile swapping the Ryzen 7 9800X3D for the Ryzen 5 7600X3D and reallocating funds to other components? View: https://youtu.be/Awz_CG2320E

I'm located in the EU, Croatia, and I have a gaming PC. I'm mainly checking local options like the sites you shared, but also comparing prices on Amazon. Prices for PC parts in Croatia are higher than in the US or other larger markets, mostly due to the 25% VAT, so I expect to pay more. My budget is about 2300 Euros (maybe a bit more), excluding the case. I'm thinking about the Ryzen 5 7600X3D since it's still a solid gaming processor, and possibly the RTX 4080 Super if that fits my needs. I'm not sure if it's worth it. The Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 Se is also available, though it's a bit more expensive but not too much. I'll look into PCPartPicker.

Without understanding your specs it's hard to offer recommendations. You should look for an ATX 3.0 or 3.1 power supply for these RTX 40XX / 50XX graphics because of the adapter. A minimum of 850W is needed for the RTX 5080. I’d suggest a RTX 5070 Ti with 16GB RAM for gaming at 1440p. This model will be available on the 20th of this month with a MSRP of $749 USD. You can reduce costs by choosing the Ryzen 5 7600x3D or the Ryzen 7 7700. Use low-profile RAM so that the heatsinks won’t block the dual tower CPU cooler.
