building a new pc
Oke begins by explaining that he's constructing a new PC. He mentions needing to wait too long on a very slow machine. He already has the case (Corsair Carbide Spec 03 Red) and motherboard (MSI Z170A Gaming Pro). The remaining components include an i5 6600k, G.Skill Ripjaws V F4-3000C15D-16GVRB, Cooler Master V Series V750 - 80+ Gold, Seagate Desktop HDD ST2000DM001 (2TB), Samsung 850 EVO 250GB, and a 960 4GB or the 970 still in consideration. He expresses interest in some overclocking options within a budget of around 100 euros, aiming to find the best cooler for that range, without planning to push it to maximum speeds, but seeking the highest possible overclock performance.
G.Skill Ripjaws V F4-3000C15D-16GVRB operates at 3000 Mhz – evaluate why you’d pay extra for such a high frequency. 2133-2600 Mhz are sufficient. Also check the CL rate.
In general, today’s RAM is so fast that the performance gap between the slowest and fastest sticks is barely noticeable.
I suggest the GTX 970 instead of the 960 4 GB.
Opt for CM Hyper Evo, Noctua NH-D14/15 or Cryorig H7 – all three offer excellent value for money.

i now that the air coolers are good but i do not really like air but i will look in to that some more.
