Building a desktop-style laptop on a computer platform
I won’t be using a slim laptop; instead, I’ll be utilizing my old HP Elite Book, removing the outdated components. Since it offers ample room, it should fit—just make sure to take precise measurements.
I’m sure it’ll work since it offers plenty of space. It’s also worth noting it’s bigger than the motherboard you’re considering.
Share images of the laptop. Components are focusing on older Intel chips; using AM4 is preferred. Refurbished B450s and Ryzen 3100/3600 models are affordable and offer great value. They’ll make the old 9500T obsolete while leaving room for upgrades. I’ve considered this idea myself, though it would need a 4-5cm thick case and an 18-24" display. I might build it if I have some money, since I don’t enjoy gaming laptops.
I’ll draw from the hp elite book to broaden and deepen the content.
