Ryzen 5 3600 offers similar value compared to other options. The cheapest equivalent is around 235, while the I5 9400 is roughly 750 LGA 1151. The 1151 variant costs about 218.

It's important to note that I'm planning to use a p106-100, which means I can't use the Ryzen 5 3600 because it lacks an integrated GPU.
