I am planning to assemble a new PC after eight years.
I have selected some components—GPU will be either a new AMD or 5080—but I’m not sure if everything will fit properly.
Here’s the list I found:
CPU
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
CPU Cooler
TRYX PANORAMA ARGB 66.09 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard
ASRock X870 Pro RS ATX AM5 Motherboard
Memory
Kingston FURY Beast RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory
Storage
Kingston SSDNow V300 120 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Storage
Samsung 970 Evo 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
Storage
Western Digital Black SN770 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
Video Card
MSI VENTUS 3X OC GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 16 GB Video Card
Case
be quiet! Light Base 600 LX ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply
MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
Operating System
Microsoft Windows 11 Home OEM - DVD 64-bit
Also, the CPU cooler might need a different AIO model.
The overall theme is WHITE if you can’t tell
😀
Looking forward to any suggestions.
Thank you all and have a great day.

ATX 3.0 power supply recommended for these RTX 40XX graphics cards because of the adapter compatibility.

Absolutely, no problem. Just another suggestion—perhaps a separate AIO for the CPU?

Replace the small HDDs with a single large SSD. Retain the 970GB drive for the operating system and use a 2TB SSD for storage. Modern systems no longer require a 320GB 5400rpm drive.

I'm assuming you're using some existing storage from a previous version, and it's being transferred from your current setup.

Thanks for your feedback. I understand you're considering this option and wondering about its quality. It seems many people find it priced around 200 dollars, but you're looking for a more affordable choice at about 75 dollars. From what I gathered, it mainly offers features like an LCD screen, and I can help you decide which one to choose based on that.

Yes and no
The HDDs and the 970 come from the older model.
But I'm considering a change.
I also own some 320gb and 120gb SSDs.

I would purchase a 2tb gen4 SSD instead of a 1tb Gen5. The performance gap in a gaming setup won’t be noticeable. You can maintain your theme using a more affordable case as well. Check the link in my profile for new build/upgrade tips and reply here with all the details.
