They might be a good choice because they usually have more parts in stock than what is on Amazon or other sites. You can check their website to see what they have available right now. Sometimes you can find deals on "open box" items that save you some money on specific components too. Edit: If I had read the rest of your first comment, I would know your whole plan started with this idea hah 😀. If you can find an RX 9070 or 9070 XT for about the same price as a 5070, it's worth getting them instead of buying just the 5070.
Yes, it is true. The 9600x is much faster when you play games. Even though an 8-core 9700x would be better for the long run, your current setup works well right now. This bundle is a great deal: https://www.microcenter.com/product...ie...ild-bundle
No, that's my point against buying a 9600x. For real-world stuff like gaming or everyday tasks, you'll actually want more cores to keep things smooth when Windows does background work. The 9600x isn't faster for games either. Some people say it's slower than the 7700x. Others say it's slightly better. In both cases, the difference is tiny, so I don't think you need a 9600x right now. Plus, if you go to 1440p resolution, those small gaps between processors will disappear completely. And since the 9600x only comes with one 16gb stick of RAM, you're not really getting any real speed boost from that bundle either.
