Most modern MBs support RAID features, yet achieving true RAID0 requires matching disks in both speed and quality. For optimal speed, M.2 and NVME ports need direct CPU control, which might reduce PCIe lanes for the GPU and affect performance—this decision depends on what matters most.
PS. A single NVME PCIe v5.0 offers double the speed of v4-0 and outperforms RAID0 with twice the rate of v4.0. RAID0 at twice the v5.0 would already exceed what the system can manage, making it impractical to fully utilize. RAID also introduces some overhead, so real performance gains aren't guaranteed.
Understood regarding the raid and Nmve.

Now let's examine video cards.
I considered an older model, the 3090, but realized it exceeds my budget more than I expected.
Currently, I'm targeting the $300+ range. I'm leaning toward AMD options this time. A RX 7700XT seems like a solid choice. Is it a versatile all-rounder? If yes, which manufacturers would be recommended?
I'm upgrading from a 1060ti, so I expect a significant upgrade. However, I'm aiming for good value rather than cutting-edge performance.
On the green team, I considered a 4060 rtx. These models only offer 8bg, whereas the 3060rtx has 12gb. Maybe a rtx 3060ti would be better. Also, I noticed these are 2 and 3 fan versions; what's the distinction between them?
The 4060 ti or 3060 ti perform better than the 4060 and offer similar results.
Likely accurate, but AMD's AI capabilities are limited. The 7900 costs twice as much as the 3060 Ti. https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nv...4090vs4141 I'm not a high-end gamer. Is there anything I'm missing? Oh, many thanks for the feedback!
