The system requires no sound card, wired network, or wireless adapters since the motherboard provides them. The case includes many fans and a fan hub. The motherboard manages fan speeds via BIOS or Gigabyte's software, eliminating the need for a separate fan controller. Any USB keyboard and mouse are compatible. Optical drives are rarely used nowadays; if needed, opt for a USB external model.
Thermal paste is included with the cooler, but extra can be beneficial. For audio, speakers or headphones are optional depending on your listening preferences. A webcam is only necessary for video calls or live streaming.
For storage, an 8GB USB drive is recommended for Windows installation. More is useful for backups, though not essential for a gaming PC. A UPS is helpful for power outages but not mandatory for gaming systems.
I wouldn't purchase the Asus 7900gre. A more affordable powercolor fighter would be a better choice, as powercolor is a leading AMD GPU supplier. Avoid the KF model because it lacks integrated graphics; having one ensures troubleshooting capability or backup functionality if your GPU fails. A functional PC remains usable even then.
For setting up windows on a fresh system, you employ the windows media creation utility, generate a bootable USB, and then proceed with installation.
