The team you’re talking about are truly exceptional. The decision is clear, and I’m likely to get the 9800x3d and a 5070 ti. Now I have another thought. I already own a white keyboard, mouse, mousepad, and I’m not planning to replace them with new ones, so I’d probably go for a white PC build. I know there are many different 5070ti models, but I’m not sure what the differences are. For instance, when I search for a white 5070ti in Canada, I see so many options and I’m really confused. They all start with RTX 5070 ti, but then they have names like AORUS master, AERO OC, GAMING OC, EAGLE OC ICE, EAGLE OF SFF, WINDFORCE OC, WINDFORCE SFF. Do these letters and names actually matter, or should I just pick the one that fits my setup and is a 5070ti?

I’m heading out tomorrow to purchase the 5070 Ti GPU, the Ryzen 9800X3D CPU, and also plan to buy RAM at my local Canada computers. No matter when or where I buy it, how can I be sure there’s a suitable motherboard for all these components? Should it fit the correct RAM, the 5070 Ti, the 9800X3D, and include features like WiFi?
The motherboard must support ATX, DDR5 and WIFI features. Avoid Micro-ATX, Mini-ATX or E-ATX for standard-sized cases. An ATX board will accommodate components properly. The CPU needs a particular cooler, while the 5070 TI is suitable in a larger case. For brand choices, others can advise, but stick to the names mentioned above.
SO! Big news, right now in front of me is a :
- 5070ti, the Eagle OC ICE SFF16G
- 9800x3d
- B850 AORUS ELITE WIFI 7 ICE
- A 2TB SN 7100 WD ssd
- 32Gb of Vengeance RGB ddr5 6000mhz cl30 ram
- An ATX white case
NOW! this case does not come with fans built in. And I’m aware the only things left that I need to buy ( I THINK ) are :
- power supply ( 1000w probably )
- CPU cooler ( either a fan, or AIO )
- fans for the case
My concern is, 1. Do I have everything? Did I forget to list something or am I set after I buy those three? 2. Is the RGB changeable on the ram sticks? 3. what should I do for CPU cooling? Air fan, AIO, liquid? 4. What fans / how many fans should I get / need? This is where I’m least experienced in, I don’t know anything about which do what or like intake exhaust whatever so, any information please do share
^note being able to change rgb for fans is also a need for me, don’t want just rainbow rgb always I wanna custimize it myself
