Wow isn't a very demanding game by today's standards... it will run on a potato. That being said... The one thing I would question about your setup is the 4070.
I would think that it would be fine for WoW at 4K 60 fps... but I can't verify. What I can tell you is that I have no issues at 4K 60 fps at max 10 Ultra settings across the board with a 4090 on my 4K OLED.
WoW being as easy on systems as it is I would think the 4070 would be fine though.
Also... I'd probably bump the storage and PSU up just a tad.

Hi everyone, thank you for your feedback. Here’s the latest on my build considering availability and cost-effectiveness.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D at 4.2 GHz with 8 cores
Board: ASUS B650M TUF GAMING PLUS – already ordered
CPU cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE (66.17 CFM) – received from Amazon
RAM: Kingston FURY BEAST 2x16GB DDR5 at 6000MHz CL30 KF560C30BBEK2-32
Storage: WD Blue 2TB M.2 SN580
PSU: CoolerMaster 750W V750 GOLD - V2 (fully modular)
Case: Antec NX500M for $40 on sale
Case fans: Noctua NF-P12 Redux-1700 X 3 (~$45) – already ordered
WiFi card: WiFi 6E PCIe Card with Intel AX210 chip (~$20) – already ordered

For performance, the specs confirm the cooler and RAM are compatible with this setup. There’s no concern there.

Regarding noise, the case should keep things quiet even under heavy loads.

Any additional suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot!

Are your finances limited? The newest build appears acceptable. It’s wise to seek feedback before placing an order. For a premium setup, avoid choosing a low-cost or compact PSU. Your selection might produce some noise: Opt for a power supply rated at 850W or more. High-end graphics cards needing 4K performance can cause power surges beyond what a basic load handles. A quality PSU will operate more quietly and efficiently across most of its capacity. Focus on options like Seasonic Focus/Prime or Corsair RM. Ryzen has strict requirements for RAM compatibility. Do some research to confirm your RAM model is listed in the motherboard’s RAM specifications, or check if it’s explicitly supported by Kingston via their support app for your specific CPU and board combination. Other RAM types might work, but you’ll be responsible for ensuring compatibility yourself. I prefer the case; it supports air cooling well. First, test the included fans. Quiet operation is key—2x 140mm intake fans typically move more air smoothly than 3x 120mm fans. The goal is to balance the RPM needed for your desired cooling performance. On the CPU cooler, the original NH-D15 might not fit the 155mm height available. The Spirit 120 by Phantom may also struggle with a 157mm height. Check Noctua’s CPU compatibility list for the 7800X3D: https://ncc.noctua.at/cpus/model/Ryzen-7-7800X3D-1649 The NH-D12L appears to be a strong alternative: https://noctua.at/en/nh-d12l/specification

Hi, thanks for your feedback.
Yes, QVL support list was verified and those components are included.
GPU restrictions are set to 4070 s max. For my main use case, which is WoW gameplay, 4060 Ti or 4070 should work well for high 1440p and low-medium 4K. I was told 750W is recommended, but if needed, the CORSAIR RM850x can be used instead.
Unfortunately, the spirit may not match NX500M, so I’ll choose another case. These two options are similar in price but not as compact or valuable. Which one do you think is better?

Both options work well with a tall cooler. The 168mm and 170mm sizes are suitable. I prefer the NX410 since it has two 140mm front intake fans, which is excellent for air cooling.

You selected the right option for a 7800x3d in WoW. The game really appreciates the extra v-cache because of its limited threading, only supporting four cores. I’d recommend going with an AMD GPU for this title. It was fine-tuned in Shadowlands specifically for AMD graphics. You can find a much quicker 6800xt for roughly the price of a 4060ti 16GB right now. It’s available from Amazon and also sold by Asrock USA directly, not from any unreliable third-party vendor.

Thanks for your help guys, here is an update:
I've ordered a 850W Cooler master V850 V2 (listed A tier, not to be confused with the inferior models), hope it will be sufficient quite as rm850x.
CPU: I have decided to wait for 9800x3d release since it's gonna be soon anyways and priced quite as 7800x3d. I just hope it won't be that much of a hassle to link with the board. glad I ordered one wth flash for easily Bios update.
GPU: you're right, I've put my eyes on 7900 GRE since it has a quite nice performance in 4k.
I'll see what happens in the coming weeks and update.
Thanks!
