Build a gaming PC for 1440P resolution priced at 1500 euros.
Hello everyone,
I am planning to assemble a gaming PC within a budget of €1500,00 in Belgium.
My main goal is to play various games, mainly at 1440P resolution.
I have already put together this setup (the case will change because of the size constraints of the GPU).
I was wondering if everything looks satisfactory and if all the parts I purchased offer good value for money.
I hope I can upgrade the RAM a bit more, perhaps with these options:
(lower latency)?
Another question is whether switching from the Ryzen 5 7600X3D to an AMD Ryzen 5 9600X or even a Ryzen 5 7500F would be a better choice.
It might be slightly less FPS, but a stronger GPU could compensate in non-CPU intensive games.
Looking forward to your thoughts,
Kind regards
A superior GPU won't compensate for CPU limitations. The 7900xt is quite powerful and works best with a strong CPU. A more efficient processor will also improve low frame rates by 1%, reducing stuttering. I recommend sticking with the 7600X3D. Personally, I’d opt for a better cooling solution (perhaps an AIO if you can afford it).
You should also install a smaller external drive, such as a 500GB one for your system and a 2TB drive for your games. This setup is more efficient for managing files and only requires backing up your small C drive—no need to back up games; if needed, you can simply re-download them.
For RAM, 6000MHz CL32 should suffice, but CL30 is preferable if you have the budget. Ensure the components are certified Expo. If not, you may need to manually adjust the voltage to 1.4V for your CL30 timing to function correctly.
