Hi everyone, seeking advice from the experts. I have a Dell Latitude 5440 motherboard with the battery cable, battery control board, and three unused battery connectors. The board is working fine. BIOS logs errors when trying to connect an LCD panel and the battery—only when using USB-C power at 65W does it function properly. The problem is that during boot, the CPU either drops to 400MHz on all cores or sometimes hits 3.5 on e-cores and 2.7 on P-cores for a single cycle, then jumps back to 400MHz on the next boot. Could you suggest modifying the battery control board by adding resistors across the + and - pads so the motherboard thinks a battery is present? Or any alternative method to let the CPU run at its full 4.7 GHz on the P cores? Thanks in advance.
