Looking at the price and features, what do you think about this ASUS Prime B450M-A motherboard? It seems like a solid pick for a budget build. Let me know your thoughts! Thanks, vK

This project isn't suited for me, but I might ask someone for their thoughts. It should work, though curiosity drives me to wonder—what sets these boards apart?

The power output is slightly improved, and the maximum series features larger BIOS chips. It also offers reliable 3000-series compatibility, making it a solid investment worth about five dollars more.

It remains quite poor, but it's important to note that these boards only support a 6-core processor.

This setup is perfect for beginners and light gaming, not a performance issue.

UEFI must be updated to the newest version, but it should start up using the Zen 2 processor (or the 3xxx series because their APUs remain compatible with Zen).

It looks like you're comparing two experiences. Going through AMD test CPUs seems a bit easier than dealing with the challenges of AMD test CPUs, right?

It's actually quite manageable, as it shares a similar VRM design with most of the MSI range, though the heatsink is less efficient. Eight cores would definitely fit without issues.
