Hi everyone, I'm setting up a PC for SolidWorks and have an old i7 12700F with 32GB DDR4 RAM. The only LGA 1700 board with DDR4 support nearby is the Gigabyte B760M-H, but its VRMs aren't great. I want to make sure it stays safe under heavy loads.

Used idsuggest for shopping here. Otherwise, it works fine with proper airflow.

Are you looking for a specific scenario? Otherwise, cap the maximum turbo output around 150W and ensure proper ventilation.

Consider purchasing a reliable cooler that directs airflow toward the MoBo. Also, look for affordable heatsinks and apply thermal tape to the VRMs. I’ve tried this setup on my A320 and it’s performing well.
