Hey everyone, I just set up a new system and ran into a really annoying problem.
CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D (used)
Motherboard: GIGABYTE B650M AORUS Elite AX
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32GB (2×16GB) at 6000MT/s
Storage: 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD
Power Supply: 1000W (new)
GPU: Not installed yet – currently using the integrated graphics until I resolve this
Cooling: Sufficient case fans, temperatures are normal
Operating System: Windows 11

What happened:
I installed Windows 11 directly from Microsoft. After the first login, it immediately blue-screened.
For about two to three weeks, everything worked fine – gaming and regular tasks without any issues.
Then suddenly it started crashing with BSODs repeatedly.
First on boot, then after logging in, and again after roughly ten minutes of use.
This pattern repeats every time I restart the system.
One BSOD even reported a missing sys32 file.

What I’ve tried so far:
- Reinstalled Windows 11 – same problem persists.
- Changed the motherboard brand – still gets the same blue-screen after first login.
- Waiting to install the GPU until I figure this out.
- Tested one RAM stick (both types tried).

My guess:
It looks like either the CPU might be faulty (given it’s used) or there’s some memory instability.
Anyone else faced something similar? Your advice would be really helpful.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Motherboard: GIGABYTE B650M AORUS Elite AX
What BIOS version is active on your motherboard right now?
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32GB (2×16GB) at 6000MT/s
Do you have a link to the RAM kit you’re using?
Power Supply: 1000W (new), advertised wattage, but what’s the exact model?
Installed Windows 11 from Microsoft. It blue-screened after logging in on first boot.
Did you install the OS in offline mode? Did you run the installer as an administrator while offline?
Interesting, it worked well for about two to three weeks—gaming and regular tasks without issues.
What games or applications are you using with the GPU?
One BSOD reported a missing sys32 file.
Please send the .dmp file so we can review it.

Please upload the dump files from these BSODs, they are located in C:\WIndows\Minidump. Check if your RAM is clocked at 6000MHz using an XMP/DOCP profile. If it is, remove that profile and run the RAM at its native (SPD) speed, which is likely 4800MHz. Then assess stability. If stable, we can discuss your RAM overclock speed further.

I will include the recommendation to check Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.
These tools might record certain error codes, warnings, or informational messages just before or during BSODs.
You can click on any such entries for further technical information.
The relevance of these details is uncertain, but it’s not harmful to review them.
