BSOD problems
I have been encountering the BSOD for weeks, roughly every 3 to 4 days. The data collector counter never exceeds zero. The stop code is "CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED." I have tried all DISM commands and searched online for solutions without success. A hardware checker showed several LogiTech devices with no drivers; I replaced the LogiTech keyboard and mouse with wired Dell products. Following a suggestion from a tech friend, I reseated the memory boards and disk drives, removing unnecessary hardware. The new stop code is 0xc000021a. I am currently using Windows 11. Any suggestions?
Hrmmm, Have you attempted a Windows repair?
Start menu search > type > advanced startup > restart > should take you to those options.
What are your hardware specifications?
Are you sure you've cleaned all the heatsinks and memory?
Also, could you describe your service GUI? How many services are currently running?
0xc000021a seems to be a winlogin service failure. It appears to be a targeted issue by malware, though it might also stem from a corruption or RAM problem. I recommend beginning with a malware scan. Next, execute cmd.exe as an administrator and run dism.exe with the options /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth. Disable virtual memory to remove pagefile.sys, then reboot. After that, update the BIOS, CPU drivers, and other motherboard drivers from your motherboard vendor. Avoid installing any motherboard utilities—remove them if installed. Finally, retest; if the issue persists, update the BIOS and configure the correct RAM settings, followed by running memtest86.
