I tried overclocking for the first time today. I was a bit nervous but wanted to make sure I get good value. A big mistake!
I adjusted my base clock from 3.5 to 4.2 to achieve a stable overclock, set the voltage to 1.250 and then exited. After saving and closing, nothing happened—just a black screen for about five minutes. I panicked and unplugged it, reset the case, and then went back into my BIOS to reset everything to defaults. I’ve decided I’m done with overclocking.
I played Overwatch for an hour, then died by daylight, followed by Bloons TD battles. After that, I got a blue screen that looked like WDF_(something I don’t remember), but it wasn’t related to overclocking. I searched and found nothing about this issue before. I’m not sure if this is normal, but it happened right after turning on my new fast autoclicker. Could that be the cause?
I ran stress tests on my CPU and everything seems fine, but why did I get a blue screen?

Aladdad:
Check the Bluescreen viewer at http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html
See which error code appears when the screen freezes.
Thanks
