Hey guys so I just recently switched my motherboard form an asus b450m-a to an Msi mpg x570s edge max wifi, and everything went smoothly until I tried booting. Got a BSOD loop. Tried reinstalling windows with usb which didn’t work, used the bios erase tool to erase the whole drive and that didn’t work either I also have an m.2 I have plugged in and tried installing to that but for some reason my motherboard doesn’t show it when I pull up the boot menu. I also see in my bios that it does in fact recognize my m.2 but for some reason won’t let me boot from it? Can someone please help me I’m struggling haha

Create a fresh USB boot disk using the media creation utility and attempt it once more.

I handled your USB drive, didn’t you ask me to repeat it?

You're sure it functions? Then skip this step.
Have you tested it on a different computer?

I regret not having another computer, yet I can start the media creation utility when I power on my PC and it allows me to install Windows onto my drive. However, from there it keeps looping into BSODs. If I attempt to install it to a M.2 slot, it isn’t detected as a bootable drive even though the motherboard confirms installation.

Disconnect the power supply and reset CMOS, then restart. Verify RAM placement on slot A2 and B2.

It seems like you're asking how to indicate that a problem has been resolved. You could rephrase it as: "I'm still trying to figure this out, but I think I've fixed it after hours of work. Thanks for your help!"

I don't recall making threads at all; I just help people with their problems.
