Hello,
A few days ago, I accidentally hit my PC with a chair, which probably disconnected the power cable and led to the computer shutting down. Since then, I've been facing BSODs linked to ntoskrnl.exe. These crashes occur multiple times daily during random actions—like exiting full-screen on Twitter or YouTube, taking a screenshot, or simply clicking something. In roughly one in twenty cases, the BSOD happened when I wasn’t actively using the machine, but most often it happens while I’m interacting with it.

This isn’t a temperature-related problem. I’ve also noticed browser windows stuttering during browsing or scrolling.

I’ve already tried several fixes:
- Reinstalling drivers
- Testing RAM sticks in different slots with various clock speeds (BSOD remains the same)
- Running Memtest86 (no errors)
- Updating BIOS (helped for a few days, but BSODs returned later)

I’ve checked files, drives, and frames using commands in Windows (no issues).

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Some time ago, I accidentally hit my PC with a chair, which probably loosened the power cable and caused the computer to shut down.
You mention that something might have been disconnected—did you reinsert all components in your build?
Updating BIOS (this helped for 4 days, but now the BSODs have returned despite no changes).
Did you clear the CMOS after confirming your BIOS was successfully flashed?
When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it’s standard to provide full system specifications. Please list them clearly:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Include the age of the PSU, along with its make and model.
Bios version for your motherboard at this time.
Have you tried using a different RAM kit to see if the problem continues?

You mention a possible disconnect, did you reinsert all parts into your assembly? - Yes, my PSU cable was loose, I inspected every component and everything seemed fine.
'Did you reset the CMOS after confirming your BIOS update worked?' - Yes, I did.
