Hi everyone,

I recently set up a new system and listed the specifications at the bottom. From the beginning, I faced problems with the motherboard, RAM, and BIOS. On the first boot, it didn’t power on at all—just stayed idle with the orange DRAM indicator lit. I was told to wait a bit before the RAM would start up, but that didn’t help. I tried turning it off and spoke several words, retried, but only managed to install one stick of RAM in the A1 slot. Still nothing. I assumed the issue was with the hardware.

RMAd informed me about both the board and RAM tested by the company I bought from, who immediately sent them to me. However, only the motherboard arrived.

I then bought more RAM, and things started to improve. I managed to install Windows with just one stick of RAM in the A1 slot. Once satisfied, I shut down the PC to install additional M.2 drives and storage, but I encountered a BSOD loop with the same error codes repeatedly.

I attempted a Windows clean install using a USB drive, but it failed. Eventually, I decided to perform another clean installation. Unfortunately, this time the system wouldn’t boot from the USB at all—only showing an orange screen with vertical lines and a lot of bad words.

I recalled that Windows tends to reject installations when more than 16GB of RAM is installed. So I removed the second stick of RAM. Suddenly, it worked again. Now, whenever I install the second stick after getting the orange DRAM light back on, it still doesn’t boot. But when I remove it, it does. Is this RAM slot faulty, or am I missing something small?

The manufacturer confirmed everything was fine during testing, and provided screenshots and photos as proof.

My new RAM passed testing on my friend’s PC yesterday—100% stable in a 1-hour MemTest.

Thanks in advance.
