I recently purchased this laptop about a year ago, but it's been experiencing frequent crashes. It appears to shut down abruptly without any warning messages. I often have to power it off just to get it working again. There were a couple of crash logs recorded, one labeled "Machine Check Exception" and another on Valentine’s Day. It seems I might need to upgrade to a full desktop system. Still, considering I spent $1,062 on my first laptop and $915 on the second, this one is definitely more expensive. Fortunately, it doesn’t overheat during gaming, unlike the previous machine. However, I’ve noticed occasional lag spikes where the audio distorts briefly. When playing Beat Saber, the lag becomes so severe it even affects the game itself. I’m thinking about using the old RAM from my last laptop and possibly swapping out a faulty NVMe drive. It’s probably located near a heat pipe, which is common in older designs. Any suggestions on how to proceed? What OS should I use—Windows 10 x86 (32-bit) or x64? And what was originally installed on the system? Windows 10. Was it an OEM version or a retail purchase? The operating system hasn’t changed since installation. Is it an OEM model or a full retail version? CPU: 11th Gen Intel Celeron i5 (11260H @ 2.60GHz). Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050. Motherboard info not needed unless you’re replacing parts. Laptop crash logs available here: [link].

Sure, I'll give it a try. It didn't detect any integrity issues.

You can restore without deleting files or apps; it simply refreshes the system files. More gentle than a complete reset.
