BSOD help Windows 10
My computer began experiencing BSOD recently, marked by the critical process failing. All my components, except for the GPU, are new and only a year old, and the SSD is even more recent. I've run various diagnostics—ram tests, disk checks, CPU and GPU stress tests, reinstalled Windows, re-seated RAM and GPU—but nothing resolved the issue. Something unusual I noticed is that the blue screen doesn't appear instantly; it seems to happen after a game would freeze or crash, showing high disk activity in Task Manager before the crash. Windows doesn't generate a crash dump, making it hard to determine the exact cause. I'm really confused and feeling overwhelmed.
Everything seems to be working now, though I'm still puzzled. I fixed it by setting my RAM speed back to the default level after using 3200, which had a higher speed than my R7 2700. No more blue screens appeared. My guess is that some power outages might have altered the BIOS settings slightly, and resetting everything to defaults helped restore stability. It's strange, but I'm relieved things are now functioning properly.
