Hey everyone, a while back my motherboard failed because of a thunderstorm, so I replaced it. But right away issues appeared. My PC started showing some BSOD errors. It worked fine until I tried to launch a game and something went wrong at https://prnt.sc/tpyh8n

It seems a sudden glitch might have affected your storage, possibly due to a lightning strike. Restarting Windows could help resolve the issue. If the problem persists beyond Windows, there may be a memory-related concern.

Vintage setup, Intel i5 2500, 8GB RAM, R7 265 OC SSD, 120GB storage, 500W power supply. Brand unknown. Possibly the processor is damaged? It ran smoothly for about four hours before restarting and showing a few errors afterward.

Are you certain the PSU wasn't harmed by the surge? Would you like to test another one? Also, as I mentioned, please clear the CMOS.

I’d still attempt an alternative option if feasible. Also, let me know the drivers and temperatures.

The motherboard must be damaged, so the PSU is definitely affected. I assumed the PSU was replaced.

The PSU I currently use hasn't been damaged in a thunderstorm, so it's not a faulty unit.
