BSOD after sleep
BSOD after sleep
I recently replaced my laptop's hard drive from a worn WD 250 5400 rpm model to a newer WD 750GB 7200rpm unit. After cloning the old drive, I installed Windows 7, but now my laptop struggles to resume from sleep or experiences frequent BSODs and abrupt shutdowns at startup. I've reformatted the new drive and reinstalled Windows 7, yet the issue remains. The drive shows no bad sectors, and there are no logs in the Action Center when a BSOD occurs. The old drive worked perfectly, but the new one is slow. How can I identify the underlying cause?
Are you certain these are authentic Windows products? Many people suspect issues with counterfeit versions.
Yes, the process is similar to how we assembled the laptop initially.
Nope, got it separately my laptop is a HP dv6670 and in those times there was no Win7 only Win Vista )
Did a driver problem occur? Have you checked the error code online?
The last log is completely missing, which is unfortunate since I can't determine the cause of the issue.
