BSOD after ram overclock
Hi, your manual adjustment of the DDR4 2400 to 2933 on an ab350 gaming 3 worked well for a short time. After updating the BIOS, you experienced frequent BSODs. Reducing the RAM speed helped, but it still settled at 2400. Is it reasonable to think the BIOS update caused the issue, or could the instability have been present from the start?
Just checked and it looks like the core clock boost and quiet settings are active now. I don’t recall turning them off before the BIOS update, but it’s likely I did while overclocking. They’re off now, memory is back to 2933, and there’s no blue screen yet.
