I recently assembled my PC and have been experiencing intermittent internet issues every ten seconds or so. I ran a ping to 104.160.131.3 with a timeout option and captured the output. It looks like there might be something going on with the connection. I’ve verified the router drivers and updated them, restarted both the computer and modem, but the problem persists.

Unfortunately, it's not possible right now. I truly hope to get it set up later, but it's quite inconvenient because I'm far from the router.

It's a Hitron router. Shaw handles our internet connection.

Are you using a 2.5 or 5GHz connection? You may want to opt for 5GHz for a more reliable link, though it means you’re closer to the router or Wi-Fi source. Check your local network to find out which channels are active and choose one with less traffic. How many devices are connected in your home network? Are they other users during this test? If yes, it’s normal; the best fix is upgrading your router. You might consider purchasing used enterprise equipment if you plan to invest in better networking hardware.
