I swapped my old 750ti for a 3060. Everything works, but the fonts look odd in chrome—thicker and blurrier than before. This affects search results and YouTube titles. I've tested many fixes: hardware acceleration, ClearType, Windows performance tweaks, NVIDIA FXAA, restoring defaults, disabling extensions, and switching drivers. Still no improvement. I've saved some screenshots for you. Spoiler: it's not working as expected.

I don't perceive any unique changes—this appears standard.

I understand your perspective, which suggests adjusting the monitor or resolution settings to improve the display. Confirm it matches the correct resolution and refresh rate for your screen. Your efforts to enhance it are appreciated. It would be wise to review the monitor settings as well.

The display configurations match those of the previous graphics card. I could revert to the older card and demonstrate the variations.

Verify your cleartype preferences in Windows. It seems likely this is the cause based on your details.

This seems to be a niche concern among users, possibly shared by a small group. The situation changed after switching from AMD to NVIDA hardware. Not everyone experiences the same problems, which might explain why some don’t notice differences. On NVIDIA forums, a few users discuss ongoing issues with their GPUs, but the conversation remains limited. I own an 1650Ti and have observed persistent challenges with web browsers, even on a high-resolution monitor. Text often looks washed out, especially in Chrome, which led me to use a font-enhancing tool. It’s puzzling why developers prefer very light gray text, and I rely on an extension to improve readability. Despite NVIDIA’s strong gaming reputation, if clarity and sharpness are your main goals, I’d recommend considering alternatives.

The outcome is clear after a year.
