I need a browser that requires minimal RAM, and it should work well on Linux.

Hi, I think Firefox would be a good choice. You can see that Internet Explorer uses less memory when only one tab is open. On the other hand, Firefox performs best with many tabs active. Chrome managed to release the most memory after closing several tabs, though the gap compared to Opera is minimal.
