Hello, I’m a 3D Artist who relocated my PC abroad. My brother assisted with disconnecting RAM, disks, GPUs, and the power supply. After setting everything up in LA (without prior hardware experience), I have a Gigabyte X399 Aorus xtreme 2x GeForce 2080 Ti with 128GB RAM, Threadripper 2990WX, 2 SSDs, and Samsung EVO 3 SATA drives. The machine is carefully packed and connected here. It functions, recognizes RAM and GPUs, but I encounter an A5 error code, the cooler makes noise, and performance feels sluggish with noticeable lag. What might be causing these issues? Replace the RAM and CPU. Inspect carefully in bright light, confirming no dust on the CPU or its socket pins. Updated to Troubleshooting.
