He won't even attempt other games, so basic troubleshooting is likely out of the question too. It probably isn't the Windows issue—maybe the PSU or GPU is the problem. Can you tell me the brand of the PSU?

You could look up the manufacturer's QVL for that model and processor. I've encountered some challenging cases where the board reacted negatively to the installed RAM. My Ryzen setup caused problems for a while until I resolved it. It seems others have faced similar issues too.

The standard power supply is only around 550W and struggles with high demand. Upgrade to at least 750W, ideally a reputable brand. Having 8GB RAM is decent for a single game but may be insufficient for more demanding titles.
